Jan 11, 2022 · Re: Downloading sims 2 without disk drive If you still have your game keys an EA Game Advisor can add the game to your Origin account and you can then play without disc. As Sims 2 is an older game you’ll have to contact an EA Game Advisor to have it added to your Origin account.
They had me take a photo of one of the codes and disc. The person then added the collection to my library. This was just a few years ago after 2016. Download it on steamunlocked then get the shadow mod (to fix the shadow issue), and the mod (i forgot the name) needed to stop the game from crashing. The Sims 2 doesn’t download from a server, it installs from the disc so you can use the serial code as many times as you wish! The base game installs fine on Windows 10–it’s the expansion packs that need a little tweaking.

Just buy them one at a time when they go on sale which happens every few months on steam. There are a ton of great mods to spice things up after awhile. Wickedwhims, Basemental Drugs and Gangs if you want more of an adult theme to the Sims 4. Also you can download furnitures etc as mods to give you more items if you like decorating.

They removed it from Origin, and stopped officially supporting the game a few years ago (2014, I guess?), with a brief release of the "Ultimate Edition" that was the entire game, free to anyone who had at least something else from the game registered on their Origin account.
Navigate to you game files folder, and find your latest EP. In that folder is a file like TS3EP11.exe. Rightclick on that, and create a shortcut. Go to your desktop and paste it. Clicking on that will bypass the launcher and allow you to play. I haven't used origin in years, but it used to use the launcher to link you to Origin.
